Old city charms- Ahmedabad

Taken in Ahmedabad during the Heritage Walk through old city last year.
The old city provides for some very entertaining frames. Great space for a photographer to blend into a corner, experience the flow of the world and find some of the most charming faces, activities and backdrops emerge.

  2. hmmm...some old world charm this is! Wish I could one day take off and shoot some of the pics of Old Delhi too...when I walk across the old parts of the city, I just imagine that the creaky, old, broken homes would once be bustling with activity and resplendent in their grandeur...

  3. Yeah i can imagine how colourful old Delhi must be! It looked so fab in Dilli 6... though im not sure how much of it was actually shot there.

Something about the old city gets the imagination spinning which the new side just doesnt have.. i think its the soul. Buildings these days seem to have none..

  5. Hm. I dont know Payal.. theres a beautiful door there and surrounds it this dilapidated house but its on us if we choose to see the beautiful door and the gorgeous red bug..or rue the state of the house...? It seems to me more and more over a period of time.. life is as the colour of the lens we choose to view it through..
